This is a Analog-to-MIDI Input Device for Key-framing 3D Animation.
I designed and built the mechanical armature and the circuit boards.
A pose-able armature with analog potentiometers on each joint.
The cards take the analog signals and convert them to midi data that is then sent to the computer and into the 3D program with a software interface.
The original prototype was made out of balsa wood and wired into a FaderMaster midi volume controller. This proved to be a very quick and easy approach for a proof of concept piece.
Yay!
